1. Acceptance of terms
Locava.bar is a product of Aureza Ventures ("we", "our", "us"), a technology company registered in India. By accessing or using locava.bar, locava.in, or any related Locava platform (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all visitors, business owners, and any other users.
2. What Locava provides
Locava is a hyperlocal business discovery platform. We provide:
- A searchable directory of bars, restaurants, cafes, gyms, and retail stores
- Individual microsite pages for listed businesses
- A live deals feed highlighting current offers from listed venues
- Direct WhatsApp contact links to venue representatives
Locava is a discovery and connection platform only. We are not a booking engine, payment processor, or party to any transaction between a customer and a venue. We do not guarantee the availability, quality, accuracy, or safety of any listed venue or deal.
3. Business owner obligations
If you list your business on Locava, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, truthful, and current information about your business
- Ensure your listed deals and offers are genuine and honoured when a customer presents them
- Keep your SPOC contact details current and respond to customer WhatsApp messages promptly
- Not post misleading, offensive, or illegal content
- Comply with all applicable Indian laws and regulations, including FSSAI requirements, excise regulations, and consumer protection laws
- Notify us if your business closes or changes ownership so your listing can be updated or removed
4. Content updates (Annual plans)
Subscribers on annual plans ("Basic Annual", "Growth Annual", etc.) receive a fixed number of content updates per year as specified in their plan. An "update" is defined as any change to the microsite content including text, photos, deals, hours, or contact details. Updates must be submitted via email to listyoursite@locava.in with clear instructions. Unused updates do not carry over to the next subscription year.
5. Subscriptions, payments, and auto-renewal
- GST-inclusive pricing: All listed prices (₹999/month, ₹2,499/month, ₹4,999/month) include 18% GST. The tax breakdown is: base amount + 18% GST = total billed. A GST-compliant tax invoice is issued automatically after each payment.
- Auto-renewal: Monthly subscriptions automatically renew every 30 days. By subscribing, you authorise Aureza Ventures and our payment partner Razorpay to charge your saved payment method on each renewal date without additional confirmation. You will receive a payment notification from Razorpay before each charge.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at listyoursite@locava.in or via WhatsApp. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for the remaining days of the current billing month.
- Failed payments: If a renewal payment fails, Razorpay will retry up to 3 times. If all attempts fail, your subscription will be suspended and your listing will be taken offline. Access is restored immediately upon successful payment.
- Annual plans are billed once per year. We do not offer refunds on annual plans once the microsite has been created, except in cases where we are unable to deliver the service.
- Price changes: We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' written notice to active subscribers. Existing subscribers are protected at their current rate until the next annual renewal.
6. Prohibited uses
You must not use the Platform to:
- Post false, misleading, or defamatory information about any business or person
- List a business you do not own or have authority to represent
- Scrape, copy, or reproduce Platform content for commercial purposes without permission
- Attempt to compromise the security or integrity of the Platform
- Spam customers or other users via contact information found on the Platform
- Violate any applicable Indian law
7. Intellectual property
The Locava name, logo, and Platform design are our intellectual property. Business owners retain ownership of the content they provide (photos, descriptions, etc.) but grant Locava a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on the Platform for the duration of the subscription.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that listings are accurate, complete, or current. We are not responsible for the actions, products, services, or content of any listed business.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Locava shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability to any business owner shall not exceed the amount paid by them to Locava in the 3 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any listing or account that violates these Terms, without prior notice. You may terminate your subscription at any time by contacting us at listyoursite@locava.in. Upon termination, your microsite will be taken offline within 30 days.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Haryana, India.
